Toad for db23/13/2023 If this rings any bells with anyone, I'd love to hear your experience so I can get this working. No love. The only other thing that I think may be relevant is that I've got a local install of DB2, with IBM Content Manager onDemand. I've done a complete uninstall of all Toad products, confirmed (i think) that there's nothing hanging out in the registry, and did a reinstall of the latest download from Quest. Nothing in Process Explorer sticks out at me.The remote database is definitely working. This machine did have Toad for DB2 3.something on it as well, and Toad for SQL Server (the install was second-hand from a coworker). Backed by over a decade of development expertise and user input, this robust DB2 tool helps automate database management. TCPview never shows a connection from Toad.exe or DB2.exe. I have to end-task to get it to go away.I've run Process Explorer, TCPView, Regmon, and filemon. ![]() ![]() The app never goes to "not responding" but it never connects to the remote DB2 host. ![]() When I make a connection (settings based on a screenshot given by a coworker with a working Toad install) it just sits there. ![]() It has never worked for me on this laptop. I've got a Windows XP machine and am trying to get Toad for DB2 Freeware 4.0.1 to work. Simplify IBM DB2 management with Toad’s advanced automation and intuitive workflows. I'm asking this here, it might also be appropriate for Programmer's Symposium.
